When you want to really spoil your dog, or just meet other dog owners who are as crazy about their pets as you, there’s no better place to bring Fido than a dog event. Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. And since 70% of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.

Pet Friendly Wickham Park's First Friday
Wickham Park's First Friday Leashed dogs are welcome the first Friday of each month at this fun event featuring live music and food trucks. The event is rain or shine. See Details
Pet Friendly Frolick Small Dog Playgroup
Frolick Small Dog Playgroup Bring your small dog out for an evening of fun! There will be staff on-hand to work with your dog over the agility course as well as demonstrate the dog treadmills and balance equipment. All pups must be under 35 lbs. The playgroups will be on February 2, March 8, April 12 and May 17. See Details
Dog Days at the Garden Enjoy a weekend excursion with your furry best friend, admiring the plants and exploring the trails. Photo opportunities are also available in addition to water and waste stations. See Details
2nd Friday Night Out Bring Fido for a fun night of art, music, food and trivia! Every month artists showcase original artwork. There will also be live bands, food vendors, gallery openings, contests with prizes, shops and restaurants open late, and much more! There's a different theme each month so be sure to check the event website for this month's special theme. See Details
Bark on the Ark Bring your dog for a sightseeing eco-cruise along Naples Bay to Keewaydin Island. Passengers will enjoy time to play with their happy hounds on the island by running, swimming and playing catch while enjoying the sunshine, water, sand, and fresh air. Water, tennis balls, waste bags, and healthy dog treats are included for the canines. Dogs must be leashed at Keewaydin Island. Guests may bring their own small cooler bag with drinks and snacks along with towels for themselves and pups. Reservations are required as space is limited. Well-trained, friendly dogs that can follow basic commands are welcome. See Details
Tipsy Tuesdays Two and four-legged friends are invited to unwind together at this weekly event. Visitors can listen to live music, enjoy free liquor tastings from featured vendors, chow down on food from Zombie Taco and sip on delicious beverages! See Details
Wednesday Night Market Bring your pup out to shop with you at this monthly pop-up market! There will be a variety of local vendors, fresh produce, art, live music and more. When you're feeling hungry, head to one of the food trucks for a bite to eat. There will also be beer and wine available for purchase. See Details
Dog Admission Day at Morton Arboretum Pups are welcome to enjoy roaming the 16 miles of hiking trails around the Arboretum several times a year on select days! Dogs must be leashed at all times and have updated vaccinations and registrations. For the safety of both your pet and the natural environment, do not let dogs go off the marked trails. Please clean up after your pet; bags are available at the Visitor Center. See Details
Tiny Tuesdays Is your dog under 25lbs? Are you looking for a group that they can play in? Join Tuesdays now to connect with fellow pet parents, let your pup socialize and make new friends. Proof of current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella are required. See Details
Dog Day in the Sculpture Park Your four-legged friend is invited to join you for an extra special day out! Take the 2km trail which winds through a beautiful landscape comprising of ponds, cliffs, rocks and thousands of trees. Enjoy an Art-in-Nature experience with over 100 sculptures and installations within one of New Zealand's largest outdoor galleries. Be sure to book your tickets online. Charity Bath Day Enjoy a cold drink while Fido gets clean! Along with a bath, your pup will receive an ear cleaning and a towel dry. Nail trims are an additional $5 with a bath or $15 without a bath. All Dogs Frolick After Dark! Bring Fido for some fun indoor exercise with other pups. No reservations required, just drop in with your canine pal. Staff members will be on hand to show you how to use the agility and exercise equipment. See Details

Barks & Bites: Doggie Food Crawl on the Atlanta BeltLine Does your dog love the BeltLine? Then they’re in for a real treat! Bring Fido out for his very own one-mile restaurant crawl. There will be tasty pup snacks at each stop as well as small bites and a craft beer for humans. Registration is limited to one canine companion.
