Join Ranger Katie and Pepper for an early celebration of National Dog Day at Tatanka Shelter. Enjoy a 2-mile dog walk along a paved trail, with custom dog treats for participants, courtesy of PAWSitive Training. All walkers, with or without furry friends, are welcome.

Canine Classic at The Resort at Paws Up
The Canine Classic is a trail hike/run for you and your dog(s) through the scenic trails at Paws Up! Participants can choose from half marathon, 5-mile and 2-mile races. In order to promote a healthy event, participants will be sent off in designated corrals depending on health department recommendations. Dogs are welcome and encouraged to participate and can do so off leash on these trap-free lands.

Bring Fido to this fun-filled social event for pets and their people in Yaletown! Cruise on in with Fido, the family, and your classic car to one of the 21 showrooms at this annual fundraising event! There will be coffee, pastries, and special awards given out for Best In Show. All makes and models are welcome with plenty of parking available. Proceeds benefit a local animal shelter and individual donations are encouraged.

Open up a whole new world for your pet when you attend the Renaissance Faire! With 10 stages, you can watch performances like jousting knights, live-flight birds of prey, armored combat, circus-style performances, comedy, music, magic, and more. There will also be local craft beer and wines as well as turkey legs, bread bowl stews, desserts, and other Renaissance-themed food. Also, don't forget to check out some of the outdoor artisan shops! Drool at the Pool
Fido's invited to take a dip in the pool as it closes for the season! Owners must provide current vaccine records for each dog (valid through event date). Humans are free and are welcome to wade, knee-deep, but no swimming is allowed. There will be two time slots: 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM or 6:45 PM until 8:15 PM. Limited walk-ins will be available.
