2024 Eclipse Bring Fido out for a fun weekend full of activities to celebrate the upcoming solar eclipse! On Friday, April 5th, there will be a "Total Eclipse of the Brain" solar eclipse-themed trivia night, and on Saturday, April 6th, you can enjoy karaoke, crafts, games, food trucks, a beer garden and a special showing of "Hidden Figures" in the park! On Sunday, April 7th, there will be more crafts and games, as well as a performance by the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra. No Sol: The Great North American Eclipse There is no better way to view the upcoming solar eclipse than by camping at this 14-acre park! The area offers unobstructed views of the night sky and very little light pollution, and because it's located in the path of totality, the area will experience a full four minutes and two seconds of complete darkness, which hasn't happened for over 800 years! There will be a lineup of artists, bands and other live entertainment, as well as food trucks and local vendors. Leashed pups are welcome, but they must be cleaned up after and are not permitted on the beach. They are currently offering a two-night camping package, no single-night tickets. See Details

This event is only open to residents of Brown County, Indiana. Your pet can get an updated rabies vaccine, a nail trim and a microchip at this event. All dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a secure and appropriate carrier. All services are on a first come, first served basis. Only cash will be accepted as payment.
