Flying to Austria / Overnight

I'm originally from Austria. I live in Grenada W.I now. I'm going to visit family in Austria in august.
I have a 10 pound female bichon frise and I want to take it to Austria with me for Summer.
I need some help and tips regarding all the shots and certificates she needs, quarantine etc.
I'm not sure which airline is cheap or suitable for her either. Also I think I may have to go through Trinidad or Barbados and then sleep in London for one night, how does that work with the dog? Does she sleep at the airport while I spend the night at a friend's house in Crawley? Or do I have to bring her?
