Service Dogs in Mexico

Does anyone have any information about traveling with service dogs in Mexico (specifically interesting in Playa del Carmen). My client is looking at an all-inclusive on the beach but I want to make sure that his dog will be allowed in the room/restaurants/bars, etc.

Thanks for any help with this.
