International Pet Travel Dog Travel Forum

Hi there,
Our family is moving from Washington State, USA to Denmark this coming Aug. 1st for one year. We are taking our 100-lb. Irish Setter with us. We have booked his and our flights already. The domestic flight (Seattle to Newark, NJ) is on United (with the PetSafe program that was formerly with Continental Airlines), and the cross-atlantic flight is on SAS. I know a lot about United's PetSafe program and feel great about that, but not so much with SAS. Anyone traveled internationally with pets on SAS? If so, what was your experience? They are about $1100 less expensive than United!
