I'm pondering a solo trip to Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand... maybe more countries if possible) with a young adult Rhodesian Ridgeback, but I'm not very sure if I want to get her on a plane due to the stress, so I was thinking of the possibility of traveling the Pacific by boat.

Any ideas or suggestions?... I'd like for it not to be a cruise but just a means to get us across the ocean, otherwise I believe I'd have to go for the plane trip.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm looking to travel to europe or asia from the US with an extra large dog. I would prefer not to fly (I don't even know if I could). Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated
