Getting a pet from Calgary to Atlanta

We're in Calgary, Alberta, and need to return home to Georgia in August, but it seems all the airlines have banned flying dogs that cannot fit in a crate that's 14x9x10. Ours is a little larger than that. The rental car companies will not allow drop off at another location. Any suggestions as to how we can get our dog back to Georgia?
