Microchip scanner for rent/buy cheaper?
Hi, our dog, a first time traveler to Europe from US, needs a microchip scanner to read her 10 digit alpha numerical number. Do you know anyone or anywhere we can contact for renting a scanner other than TravelPetStore.com? They will charge $55 for two week rental plus $37 priority mail shipping for both ways. I rather want to buy the used one around $100 or rent cheaper. BTW this chip came with our dog in the shelter and provided by 24PetWatch, but I didn't pay their life-time service fee. Is that a problem?

Hello, I saw your message as I am looking for a scanner that would read the 9 didgit Avid micro chips for the same reason you needed one.
Did you find one? Do you still have it? Would you sell or rent it?
