Dog day care facilities

I'm new to the area and going thru the anxiety/stress issues with a nine year old mixed breed who has also had to have eye surgery for ulcerated cornea in both eyes and who has started howling when left alone for more than an hour. Any recommendations for doggy day care spots in the area that could help with socialization with other dogs for a few days a week? Is there another alternative?
