Staying in a hotel room and keeping your dog in the car.

I find this hard to agree with because I leave my cats at home and have a pet
sitter that comes by daily to feed them and make sure they are alright. I now
see people staying at a hotel and keeping their dogs in their cars in the hotel
garage. I know it is expensive to stay at some hotels with pets but there is the
problem is this best for your pet?
