My husband, two retrievers, and I have visited Hilton Head several times and stayed at the Comfort Inn. Both of our dogs felt right at home and we were not given any problems with bringing two large dogs to the hotel. If requested, the rooms come with a mini-fridge and microwave. The rooms were spacious for this price range of hotel - including a sitting area with a fold out couch. There was plenty of room for both dogs' crates. We did leave our "do not disturb" sign up the whole time so the dogs or hotel employees would get scared. There is a nice pool and kiddie waterpark on site. The only negative aspect was that although the beach was right across the street, the nearest pulic access point was at least a 7 minute walk from the hotel. There is no beach view from the hotel.

A good, solid hotel with real security in the separate entrance lobby on weekends (the only time we were there). Nothing special but fine. Very reasonable prices and free continental breakfast. We'd stay again.

Room was very reasonably priced and very nice for the money. The beach was within walking distance to hotel. Lovely grounds. The week we were there we stayed on the 3rd floor with our one dog. The elevators were not working properly, my husband did get stuck on one for 15 minutes. Someone from elevator company did rescue him right away. We will go back again, enjoyed this hotel. Very accomodating staff.
