The Best Western Stagecoach Inn was absolutely the worst stay we had, it started out with very slow check in, at that time we verified that we had a small toy size dog with us, we were given the pass keys to our room and walked in to the "dog house room from hell" the room they gave us was very old and not a welcome sight, two queen size beds were in the room, after a little looking around, intuition told us to take back the covers on the beds for a quick check of cleanliness, we discovered dog hair in both beds and on the pillow cases. We put a call in to the management who came to check out our complaint of the dog hair in the beds and said this was a guest pet room for people with dogs and it was hard for them to keep rooms clean of pet hair, we then told management we wanted a different room or our money back & that we would not be staying there. Management informed us that pets shed, but it was very evident management does not clean the rooms adequately as the bedspreads on both beds were covered with pet hair – we were to accept this as we had a pet with us. We informed management we don’t live like that and we certainly were not going to pay to sleep in the filth. The room had dirty carpet, walls, door jams, doors and spider webs. After driving 600 miles that day we were tired and it was late in the afternoon so our chances of finding another hotel were slim to none. They gave us a non pet room with much cleaner beds but the room still left a lot to be desired. Needless to say we won't be back, it is too bad that when some hotels who say they are pet friendly give you the oldest most unacceptable room they have just because you have your family pet with you.
