1. Exceeded my expectations

The hotel actually exceeded my expections... it was right on the beach, very well maintained, and we had a beautiful room with a balcony view of the ocean. They were great with regard to the "dog friendly" environment. The only problem I did experience was that they had a very poor housekeeping crew. I was so disappointed to come back after an afternoon in Seaside, first to find they had not yet cleaned, and when they did finally come to clean, they left garbage on the floor, the room unvacuumed, dirty towels re-hung in the bathroom, just a few of the problems I experienced. I plan to write to the hotel and let them know my disappointment, especially since I spent over $400 for two nights because I had upgraded my room.
