1. Just OK
by Karen of Broomfield, CO
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but several things added up to a less-than-great experience. I reserved, and received confirmation for a room with a king bed, but when I arrived, I was told the room wasn't available and was given a room with 2 queens instead - which would have been fine, but I was not given the cheaper room rate. Our room ended up being in the back corner, across the street, stuck behind a wall of bricks, so that even with the curtains open, it was very dark in the room. And at night, there was no light outside our room, so it felt very unsafe. There was no good place to walk our dogs, just a side lot littered with broken glass and used condoms - yuck. And even though a continental breakfast was offered, there was no food and no juice left just an hour after it started. I've stayed in other Best Westerns and loved them, but this one wasn't so great.
