1. Friendly, quiet rooms with a great park for dog-walking nearby

We really loved this hotel, and I LOVE the fact that they donate some money to the local humane society whenever we stay there with our dog. Although they say you're not supposed to leave your dog alone in the room, if your dog is well-behaved, no one will notice or say anything. The concierge and others at the hotel were very friendly to our dog, there is a great park for dog-walking just a block away, and the restaurant even let us bring our dog outside for their outdoor seating during dinner! This has become our go-to D.C dog-friendly hotel.
