Quality Inn Stay
Debbie in Wall, NJ
I don't very often stay in hotels nor do I take my dog when I do, so I had more anxiety about being annoying to other hotel guests than worrying about how the dog would adjust. However I was pleasantly surprised as to how our spur of the moment weekend trip turned out in Wilmington, NC. The hotel staff was happy to accomodate us and only had 4 rooms that accepted pets. It was perfectly fine except for a strong Fabreze type smell. Not a lot of pet walking areas but we have a small dog so it wasn't a problem. We took our schnoodle with us everywhere we went, including 2 restaurants (we ate outside on their patios), which didn't affect the hotel rule about not cleaning your room if a pet is loose inside because we never left her there alone. The only negative I can think of was upon check in, I seemed to have paid the highest per night rate.

Nothing out of the ordinary
Mike in Syracuse, NY
They had a number of rooms blocked off in the back for guests with pets. A small grassy area is located in the back with a doggie bag dispenser and trash. Across the street behind the Hotel, there is a large grassy lot where I was able to let my dog run around leash free a bit. No problems from hotel staff.

Not Good
Tracy in Graham, NC
Very small rooms. Very unfriendly staff. They may say they are dog friendly but I have never felt more unwelcomed. I would not recommend this hotel. I reserved my room on line. I choose a no smoking room but they put me in a smoking room. Not a good experience.
