It was very nice to be able to walk our dog through the lobby without feeling like we would be unwelcomed. Because we felt welcomed, it made our stay very pleasant. Would recommend this hotel for any dog-lover.

Take the good with the bad

The hotel is clean & pet friendly, and the complimentary shuttle service is perfect for Sante Fe. You can even have coffee or a drink in the lobby bar with your dog, but you can't go on the patio for lunch. But ss a hotel there are many issues I did not agree with. 1. They did not want to let people check in (for any reason) before 4PM. Even in rooms that were not rented the night before. I complained, but otheres were told to wait, or come back. 2. I was asked to sign a pet policy paper thst acknowleged an additional $20 fee. When I showed my confirmed reservation from Bring Fido they still argued that it was policy. They would not allow mini bar charges to be posted until after you leave the hotel. This leaves an open tab on your credit card. 3. Don't get the suite. The $159 room is 310 sq ft, and the $259 king suite is only 350 sq ft. The king bed barely fits in the bedroom, and you can't fit in the bathroom without the door being closed.
