Quality Inn I-40 and I-17 -
average traveler review
1. Not a pet friendly hotel
by Mila of Yuma, AZ
I was told that reservations made via this website was for second floor rooms only. This was never indicated on the reservation details or hotel policies. My dog is 11 years old with hip problems so it was difficult to help him up the steps. I asked for another room on the first floor, but I was told I had to pay $15 more for a room with a king size bed on the first floor. I did not want to do that. Quality Inn has a 100% satisfaction guarantee signs (or your stay is free) posted on the lobby and in the rooms, but they sure did not want to honor their guarantee. I had to stay there again on the 7th as it was a holiday weekend and getting a room someplace else was going to be difficult, if not impossible. The day manager gave me a 10% discount, which I reluctantly accepted. For my future trips, I would not stay at a Quality Inn as it is not a pet friendly hotel. The hotel lobby and hallway reeked of cigarette smoke! Their hotel rating should be a 2!
