My experience at Super 8 was a good one. It was clean (a big issue for me). Staff members were friendly and service was quick. I had no problem with my dog. There were no specific rules for the dog - just common sense for the owner to use. There was a large lawn area to walk the dog. It cost me an additional $10 for the room. That was fine. It wasn't on the website and people might want to know that. This was my first experience staying at a hotel with my dog, so I have nothing else to compare it to. Since I had just gotten her and we were getting to know each other, I needed to keep her with me at all times. I found it a little hard to manage dog, suitcase, food and the dishes for food and water. Perhaps a "doggy bag" might have been helpful. It could contain information about the area in regards to dogs - parks, fenced in areas to allow a dog to run free, disposable food/water dishes, coupons for dog items, etc. I would recommend the Super 8 for a good night with or without a dog.
