1. VA to WI - A Tale of Four Hotels - Part 2

The tale starts at the Lees Inn and Suites of Lafayette, Indiana. You can read that review there. On the second night we drove for 45 minutes from the interstate to find this hotel in Racine based on pictures on this web site. Beautiful views overlooking a river and dam. When we finally found it, not close to any major road, we decided not to stay. Not sure if it was the nasty lobby, the bikers, the hooker at the door, the broken blinds on the windows, the argument going on in the room by the lobby. The place was a major disappointment and we moved on to hotel number 3 but it was almost 10pm by the time we got there. Let's move on to the La Quinta in Kenosha, WI.
