1. Don't stay here
by Sammie of Temple, TX
Absolutely no place to walk your dogs. The only place that does not have concrete is in a dark corner next to the dumpster. Hotel room was dirty. I would not stay here again.
2. Middle of the Road
by Tara of Lexington, KY
It wasn't the best hotel I have stayed in but it wasn't the worst. My dog was allowed and that was the point anyway. We arrived late, very late, the desk host was very friendly. We had a problem finding a parking space but we did. The key didn't unlock the door easily. The room was in need of updating but it was cool and there were fresh towels and coffee. The fridge didn't really work and we didn't try the microwave. We had a balcony of sorts that faces the river but you share with two other rooms. No one ever came out to sit with us so we had it all to ourselves. The breakfast was muffins, donuts, cereal, coffee and juice. But you could eat all you wanted and the area for that was nice and clean. The pools were both open 24 hours but we didn't have time to try them. There wasn't much area for walking the dog for potty, but we made do. It was on the outskirt of river road but still walkable. There are probably better rooms in the hotel but we wanted a "dog" room so that is just what we got.All in all it is a good buy for the money especially if you want to take your dog along.
3. Elevator was Fun
by James of Lexington, KY
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and everyone was wonderful and our little dog learned to love the elevator. We found that being close to town and the trail to the visitor center was great.
