This historical inn is located one block from the harbor and waterfront park and approximately 12 miles from Charleston International Airport. This series of refurbished 1860s warehouses became an inn in 1965. There is a rooftop restaurant and lounge with outdoor heaters and fireplaces. Every morning guests can enjoy a complimentary southern breakfast buffet. The inn also offers bicycles (free use) wine and cheese in the afternoon after-dinner cordials and evening turndown with imported chocolates on the pillow. All distinctly decorated units have fine antiques open beam ceilings brick walls original artwork weekday newspaper delivery and two-line phones with dataport.

The Hotel put us in the annex across the street from the main building. The room was fine except it was kind of far from the front door and had no window. Everyone was very nice to our dog Zoel. We crated her sometimes and at other times let her be loose in the room while we were out. It was a little difficult to find a park but we finally did and we could let her loose. I would sty there again. Everone was very nice to us. They did not go in the room unless we told them we were out with her.
