Location: Far enough off the main drag (99W) so that road noise not a problem. Back of Inn is adjacent to a residential area, so our first floor room in the rear was very quiet as well as being convenient to the lobby for breakfast, snacks, dog treats, etc.
Room: Our king-bed mini suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Contained a nice couch and a table large enough to easily accommodate four for lunch when rain wiped out our planned wine-tasting outdoor picnic. Refrigerator and microwave in the room were a great convenience as well.
Free Breakfast: Fine if you're wanting to get an early start somewhere or avoid the wait and cost for sit-down service at a restaurant. Waffles, bagels, pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, milk available from 6am to 10am.
Staff: From desk clerk to clean-up crew and maintenance staff - all courteous, friendly, and attentive.
Dog Friendliness: Excellent. Dog treats always available in lobby. There's a grassy, treed park about two blocks walk from the Inn (the Pool Park) which can be reached without having to cross any busy streets. A bit further on are the grounds of George Fox University with trails and a creek. Of course, you should leash and pick up after your dog on these routes.
Access to Wineries: Excellent. If you're interested in wine-tasting, just start driving SW toward McMinnville on 99W and look for the blue signs. There are more tasting rooms than you can visit in one day an stay under the legal limit. Several wineries will allow dogs on their outdoor picnic areas, but ask first and assure them you'll pick up after your dog and keep it leashed.
