Designed to resemble a mediterranean villa, the nine-story hotel is a colorful mixture of safari themes, designer touches, and mediterranean style. The lobby area, which includes full-length windows overlooking an outdoor fountain, has a decidedly hip 1960s theme, with a gas fireplace and red-velvet couches, faux-fur throw pillows, and shelves of gorgeous vases and antiquities. The hotel features a restaurant, a 3, 000-square-foot ballroom, and lobby with fireplace. The fitness center has an array of cardio equipment, and each machine has its own TV and remote control.
Guest rooms at the hotel come with high-speed Internet access and loads of zebra and leopard prints on the carpet, pillows, walls, and bathrobes.

1. Cypress Hotel is wonderful

We spent a week at this hotel and it was a absolutely wonderful. They love dogs. Everyone fussed over our basset hound and made accommodations for her as she is rather old and crippled. The room was beautiful, service excellent. They are also very environmentally friendly. I would highly recommend it.
