All Good
Larry in Richmond, VA
Excellent, seemed very pet friendly, especially some of the front office staff. Room was large, complex, very nice, great dining. Several long blocks from beach, but pretty view from our 6th floor. Bring Fido rates were very good, cost $83+, Sherton website $130 apx., door placard $350+. $5 per night parking added, convenient. Nothing but good things to say, not crowded over New Year's.

We had a great time & the hotel was totally accomodating. There is plenty of places to walk your dog right outside of the hotel. The housekeeper knew we had a dog & asked what time would be good for her to clean. We felt totally welcome & will stay there again soon!

Nice but loud
Kelli in Fort Mill, SC
The hotel was very nice, definitley a 4-star property, with very comfortable ammenities. However, after making the reservation online, when we arrived at the hotel they claimed that they didn't know we were traveling with pets. The only room they had was on the 11th floor and they only allow pets to stay on the 4th floor. They made us feel like this was our fault and we felt very unwelcome. For a nice property such as this, we also expected a quieter atmosphere, but there were doors slamming at all hours of the night which was very difficult on the pets. They were scared and confused which meant we got no sleep. On day 2, the front desk decided to deactivate our cards so we'd have to come downstairs and "discuss" the fact that we were on the 11th floor not the 4th. Unfortunatley, the card also gets you into the parking deck so we were unable to park and come inside the hotel. My husband had to drive circles around the block while I convinced the desk staff that we had informed them that the pets would be with us. Overall, I'd say this is a great hotel, but they didn't seem to really "want" pets there so they made it very hard for us to enjoy our stay.

NICE OVERALL
WILLIAM in OXFORD, NC
HOTEL AND ROOM WAS VERY NICE. LOTS OF PETS WERE THERE. OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE, OUR DOG WAS A PUPPY AND WHEN WE WENT OUT TO DINNER SHE BARKED A LOT IN THE ROOM AND THERE WERE A FEW COMPLIANTS. WE HAD A NOTE ON OUR DOOR FROM THE HOTEL WHEN WE GOT BACK. THE ONLY OTHER INTERESTING EXPERIENCE WAS WHEN OUR PUPPY FOUND A USED DIRTY CONDOM UNDER THE BED. EW.
