Commodores Inn is pet friendly! There is no fee, weight restriction, or limit on the number of pets allowed in each room. However, there will be a $50 cleaning fee if you have more than two dogs. Further, any damages will be charged to your credit card.

1. The Place for Dogs in Stowe

I have mixed feelings about our stay at the Commodores Inn. It is a little run-down and tough for dogs as it is right on the highway. There is, however, a nice backyard where the dogs can be walked, and the pond is nice to sit by. Be sure to bring your own poo bags- there aren't bag "stations." That being said, the staff at the Commodores not only extend an incredibly warm welcome to fur friends, but they also understand all that goes along with dogs - i.e. extra noise and barking. It certainly put my mind at ease to know that we wouldn't get "a talking to" when the dogs barked at something. I would say that paws down, the pleasant staff was the best highlight for us. There were many dogs there when we were there, so it seems to be a hot-spot for staying with dogs in Stowe.
