My husband and I attended a wedding at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake recently. We had our beagle with us. We were very pleased with how pet friendly the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake is. The resort has dedicated floors (wings) where all the rooms are pet friendly. They had a food bowl, water bowl, and pillow waiting in the room for the dog. Dogs could be left in the room unattended. There was also a sign for the door that a pet was on vacation in the room. The room was very clean, however you do notice evidence from previous pets (little chewing on bottom of nightstand). The staff was great with the pets. Dogs are allowed on leash almost everywhere on the grounds (not allowed in pool or restaurant areas). We enjoyed meeting other dogs and owners on our walks.
The hotel pools, activities, and restaurants are wonderful. The resort is pricey but the atmosphere and weekend we had were wonderful.
