Bad Pet Policies

When we arrived they seemed surprised that I had booked our reservation on-line & took my on-line confirmation page and made a copy of it for their manager. They do allow pets in their hotel, but I wouldn't call it "pet friendly". We have a Yorkie and when we stay at hotels, we ususally just leave her in the bathroom of our room with her bed & blanket while we go out for dinner. At this hotel, they make you sign a form saying that you won't leave your pet in the room alone and that if you do they have the right to go in your room, open the door and let the pet leave the room and go outside on their own to become lost. I thought that was terrible. At first glance, our room seemed very nice until we went to go to bed. Once in the bed, it felt like something was itching me. I just thought it was possibly because of the laundry detergent they used and that it might be making me itch (that sometimes happens). The next morning I mentioned it to my husband & he felt the same way. So we pulled the sheets completely off the bed and found some sort of tiny red bug in the beds. That was enough of that place for me. Even though we had booked the room & paid for another night, we left and headed home instead. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
