Description

Gone Creek Campground is on Timothy Lake in the Mt Hood National Forest at approximately 3400 feet of elevation. The lake offers swimming, fishing, and boating (under 10 MPH). Leashed pets are allowed, and quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Max of six people per site. Maps and area information are available on-site at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station, located nearby on Rd 42. Directions from Sandy, OR: Travel southeast on Highway 26, across the forest boundary and past Government Camp, to Primary Forest Route 42. Follow 42 south, across the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and back into the national forest, to Primary Forest Route 57. Follow 57 west for approximately two miles to the campground.
