Tybee Island Inn is a nice Bed & Breakfast BUT BEWARE! If you are traveling with your pet the room they give you is not fit for a dog. The room is a separate basement room that you enter from outside of the Inn. The room was not clean. The dirt on the bricks and conduit in the bathroom has been there for months maybe years. The bed was old and worn out. The area rub was stained and filthy (not even vacuumed). Because it is a basement room the plumbing has a holding tank that pumps the waste up to the sewer line level. I had to flush the toilet three times to have the waste go down. We didn't stay for breakfast as we didn't want to socialize with people that would subject guests to such disgusting accommodations. We texted the property manager to let her know our feelings and we didn't get as much as a "sorry you were disappointed." No response at all!
