Close to AU Animal Hospital, Clean and Friendly.

We haved stay here twice this month and plan another visit next month due to the pacemaker implantation in our Boston "Katie" at AU. We have another Boston that made the trips also. Used the free WIFI with both of our laptops. Great place if you have pets - no fee - and free breakfast at Waffle House (we love grits).

One of our Goldens was scheduled for a full range of neurological tests at Auburn Univ. Vet Hospital and we needed a room close to the facility. In looking at many of the other "pet friendly" places, there were restrictions of 25lbs or less and additional fees --- not the case here. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and provided a clean, ground level room at a great price that included a free breakfast at the Waffle House next door. The free Wi-Fi let me keep up with work while waiting word on how our girl was doing. Micro-fridge and coffee maker also included. As mentioned in another review, it's not luxury but the convenience (right off I-85 and minutes to Auburn) and knowing your welcomed along with your pets makes this place a winner and will be where we'll stay if a trip back is required.

We had to take our Boxer to Auburn for an MRI that resulted in spinal surgery--we also had our (quite large) Bullmastiff along for the ride. This hotel allowed both dogs to stay with no deposit, no hassle, no fees...the room was clean and recently remodeld, with convenient exterior doors and a green area behind the hotel where the dogs could be walked easily. Very convenient to the AU Veterinary Hospital, and the staff let us have an extra-late check out while waiting for word as to the outcome of our baby's MRI. It might not be a luxury hotel, but if you're looking for a place that is welcoming to your four-legged family members, for a great price (and free breakfast thrown in) this is perfect! We'll definitely stay there again if future trips to Auburn with our dogs require any overnighters!
