This location is also half a mile from the Arkansas State Capitol and River Market one mile from Alltel Arena four miles from Park Plaza Mall and University Mall and six miles from Little Rock Zoo and McCain Mall. We enjoyed excellent customer service, free parking (!!!) and a recently renovated, spacious room. The only problem with this hotel is lack of places to walk your dog, but this is not the fault of the facility, but rather the lack of greenery in the area of downtown Little Rock where it is located.

Our stay at this hotel was not a happy one. For starters, there is hardly any room for unloading and checking in. It is on a very busy street with absolutely no grass surrounding the entire hotel. Being right downtown in an "iffy" neighborhood, this hotel did not feel very welcoming. There was free parking, but in a garage next to the hotel and sort of far from the elevators for unloading baggage. Inside however, is very nice and elegant and the room was very clean. The staff were lazy and creepy and unhelpful when asking about dog-friendly restaurants downtown ( we ate outside at the Pub by the river market). While checking out, a lady in front of us was complaining about her car being broken into, and had $300 stolen out of her purse.... In the elevator and pool area the smell of marijuana is just too much to handle and unacceptable for hotel guests.
