Photos on the listing must have been taken from the opening years and years ago. While most surface areas seemed mostly clean, the carpets and floors were extremely dirty. The rooms were dark, which was probably a good thing or we would have been totally grossed out. They didn't have a place for dogs to relieve themselves, but we did find a courtyard area, so we had to use that. Breakfast was nearly nonexistent.

The highlight is that the staff was friendly, and efficient. That said, there’s nothing they could do since this La Quinta has not been upgraded in years. My socks were black from the carpet, the floor (where there was no carpet) was slick, hairs and stains on the comforter along with a used washcloth hanging in the shower. They were pet friendly but given all of that who cares. We left early. 0/10

Did not like this hotel at all. The bathroom was disgusting. I couldn't believe they were charging almost 200 a night. I would never stay there again.

One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed. It’s doable if you’re passing through for one quick night. Half the things at breakfast were broken or not working. The bed wasn’t terrible.

The hotel was meh. The amenities in the room were underwhelming. It was over perfumed in the room, most likely because it is a “pet” room. They did not provide anything welcoming like we have received at other hotels. We have received food and water bowls, small dog bed, throw toy and dog biscuits at other hotels. Here. Nothing. The dog area was a 12x3 rock area with dog waste bags. There is a neighborhood right behind the hotel, but at night with no lights I did not feel comfortable walking by myself.

They were nice and the pool was great but the toilet was noisy, milk was rotten, and the railings were unsafe. They looked unsafe and then when my toddler started fitting through the upstairs railings to look down I knew they are not the right width apart. They are also screwed on the outside with some visible wood rot. I would say that’s a safety hazard for dogs and children. Ultimately was a decent stay and a much needed one. No cleanliness issues. Dog area was free of waste.

After my stay, I remembered how thin the walls of la Quintas are. My next door neighbor came home with his girlfriend at 2:00 am. I could hear them talk until they fell asleep about an hour later. It was pretty disruptive to my sleep, even though the dog didn't seem too put out.

The staff was very nice. In fact, the front desk person was exceptional. So I will give them that.
But it was the filthiest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. The sheets had stains and the bed skirt was just straight dirty with some white stuff spilled on it. There was a broken pen inside of one of the beds and it had been used for drugs. The tv didn’t work. The phone didn’t work to call anyone.
Would not recommend this place.

I've stayed here twice. Hotel room was quite clean both times. Have dog biscuits at the front desk. Both times, noise from adjoining rooms or people in the courtyard, was somewhat annoying at times.

As with every La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at, the staff was super nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean enough, but the showers had some obvious mold and mildew stains. The building is overall a little outdated and the area is kind of whatever, but the staff is nice and I didn’t see any bed bugs, so I’ll call that a win.

We had a good stay at LaQuinta despite some issues. There is a nice grassy area to walk the dog which is rare in Tucson. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an odor in the bathroom that seemed like a sewer odor but my husband said was a sulphur smell. Anyways, the odor did go away after we were in the room for awhile.
Breakfast was fair. There were some things that were good, but the eggs were a waste of food. I had an issue at checkin where they put out a pending charge for double our three day charge. The next day they submitted the final amount and our credit card was then correct. They tried to say my bank had done that because we were staying at a hotel and there are always extra charges. My credit card never does this. This is either their approach or a problem with their system so watch your card if you stay here. - SaraOct 11, 2019Bucket list trip
We are doing a bucket list trip with my two old large dogs. It was very important to have a ground level with immediate access to grass (old guy has to pee when he has to pee). They accommodated us on short notice and were super nice!!
They even kept asking if I would like free bottles of water.
Rooms were spotless, none smoking, comfy and roomy!! I felt completely safe the whole time.
