Buddy Loved Cambria Shores Inn
Art & Buddy in Silver Lake
in Los Angeles
Probably the best place in the central coast for you dog owners - the inn keepers are very friendly, gracious and accommodating and welcomes both Buddy (my Piebald Dachshund) and I. We had a great time and Buddy loved all of the ground squirrels near the water's edge. Definitely a place to return time and again.
My Lab Loved It
Elisa
in Malibu, CA
What a find! This was the first time I've taken my 80lb. chocolate lab on vacation with me and we couldn't have been happier. Almost every room had a dog staying in it. The rooms all have an ocean view and are big and comfortable. The owners are very friendly, love dogs and know how to treat dogs and people. The fresh baked cookies for the people and the doggie welcome basket are all added extra treats. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be going back to stay for many years to come.
Goldens Give 8 Paws Up!

We stayed at Cambria Shores Inn on our way back from Sedona. Being big time road trippers with our golden retrievers we have stayed in many inns all over the west. Savvy and Phoebe had plenty of room to stretch out and mom had no trouble pulling their meals together in the large bathroom area. The bed was so comfortable and the cozy fireplace made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and we even got in a walk on the boardwalk across the street before heading to Carmel. We have recommended Cambria Shores to our doggie and non-doggie friends alike.
Aussie's 1st outing
Lewis
in Taft
This was our 1st trip with our Aussie, SIS. Everything was great, even with the wind blowing! Room was very neat, bed wonderful & catering to dogs was so refreshing. The room was so clean, no smell of previous animal or no smell of cleaning agents, how do you do it! Staff was great, everything that was advertised was there. Will be back with girl.
Best Weekend Ever
Rosanne
in Santa Clarita
We brought our 2 Australian Shepherds and this was the greatest family weekend we've ever had. At least half of the people staying there had their dogs with them and they were all very friendly. The doggie welcome basket was quite a treat and the people breakfast basket was divine! The owners were wonderfully warm, friendly and very accommodating. It was just a terrific weekend. Would recommend it to anyone, especially my friends with dogs.
Hannah Loved it!
Cindy
in Newport Beach
We spent one night on the way to Napa and were sorry it was only one night. Great service and attention to detail for our dog Hannah! We were told of dog friendly restaurants of which we enjoyed the mexican food restaurant with a great outdoor patio. Loved the sheet to put on the bed for Hannah. We usually travel with one and forgot it on this trip. Great place to stay with your pet!
Winston's Beach Vacation!

Was everything I hoped for. Wonderful reception when we arrived, and the midis touch was the dog basket with blanket, flashlight and treats. The rooms are spotless for a :dog friendly" hotel. The morning basket for breakfast was equally as fun. Small and intimate and all the guests wandering greeting each other with hello's. Walking across the street to give the hound a run was the best amenity. A tired dog is a good dog. Would recommend to all that love to travel without leaving the pooch behind. Cambria Shores Inn is a must stay.

All I can say is that this was an absolutely fantastic place to stay with your furry friend.
Everything was so clean and comfortable, we just couldn't have asked for any more. I would recommend it to anyone, but want to keep it for ourselves!!!
Great place to stay.

When we arrived our pup received a basket full of treats and supplies for our stay. In the morning we received a breakfast basket. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. Great views right outside our room and a walking trail to take the pup. The staff was very informative and let us know great places to eat (that were pet friendly), local dog parks and beaches. We have already told our friends about our experience at this hotel and definatly plan on returning soon.
Great Dog Friendly Inn
Eileen
in Pacific Grove, CA
Most rooms had dogs in them, so the word is getting around. Many items provided for the dog ex. dishes, blanket, biscuits,..... Across from the beach so easy for walks. Clean, newly remodeled, yet like being on a vacation in the 50s.
Dog's loved it.....

What a find!!!

Great motel. Brought my dog ,but it is a great place to stay with or without your Fido. Single story and only 24 rooms so you get great service. Rooms were wonderfully appointed and spotless. Loved the breakfast basket on the door. They truly thought of everything and other innkeepers should take a page from their book.
The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that you're not allowed to leave the dog in your room unattended. This is rather inconvenient when you want to dine inside at one of the nicer restaurants. Someone probably ruined it for others. But all in all a great experience.
I will be returning again and again.
