DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Del Mar welcomes two pets up to 25 lbs in designated rooms for an additional fee of $100 per stay. Larger pets may be accepted with prior hotel approval. Both dogs and cats are accepted, but may not be left in rooms unattended. Treats are available at the front desk. A pet relief area with waste bags is located outside the front entrance, and dogs may ride the shuttle to the nearby dog beach. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

The hotel was wonderful with my fur baby - treats at the front desk, very sweet and engaging. However, the hotel rooms do not have a refrigerator, microwave or a small coffee/tea maker, which most hotels have as a standard offering these days. This was quite frustrating.
They did bring me a refrigerator but I had to ask, and then I had to go down to the front desk every morning to get hot water for my morning drink which was also inconvenient. Also, the couch in my room was stained and the arm had two sizable rips in it. The area for the dogs to go to the bathroom is tiny but it worked. There are longer walks if you leave the hotel area and of course the location is wonderful - close to the beach. However, due to the lack of refrigerator, microwave and coffee/tea maker in the room, I won't stay there again.

Great hotel everything about going to this hotel was clean and smooth no issues nice room great front desk people. We travel a lot with our dog and this was a great hotel to stay at if you're bringing your dog.

The Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was amazing and very helpful. The dog beach is close by and a do it your self dog wash for after the beach. I would definitely come back again!! A lot of the guess were excited had no problems with our puppy.
