  Mostly ok

  The rooms have been nicely updated. The green space for our dog was good and the location of the hotel was good. Only three things were less than acceptable; there was a lack of lighting in the room and in the bathroom. It was difficult to read or put on makeup. The heat/AC system seemed to be stuck on broil. It was cool outside so we wanted some heat but it seemed to be all or nothing. We finally just turned off the heat and we were still cooking when we got up in the morning. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any soundproofing between floors. We swear we had a clog dancer in the room above us. You might want to request a second floor room.

  Horrible!!!

  I should have payed better attention to the previous reviews. I showed the lady at the front desk the pictures of the rooms, I thought I was at the wrong hotel🤨. The place was so dirty, the floor, the bed, I didn’t even sleep all night, had to wash my dog after we left because it was gross.

  Avoid this place

  Room was dirty and falling apart. Literally had to wash my feet in the AM. Pet area had beer cans and bottle caps all over and no one had emptied the trash can in days. Breakfast was minimal and coffee undrinkable. Too bad you can't give a zero bone rating.

  Not as clean as other La Quintas. ALL garbage receptacles were full. A mediocre breakfast, coffee only warm! ☹️

  Staff were friendly, rooms not that clean (our lamp was even full of rust -- yes, rust, not dust). Bed was comfortable. Location great. Breakfast was poor.

  STAY FAR AWAY!!!

  The motel had bed bugs, the rooms were very dirty. Bathroom ceiling was falling through. Every staff member either accused, alienated, or disrespected me, including the owner who, cussed me and degraded me in front of everyone for checking out late. FYI, I'M A WYNDHAM REWARDS GOLD MEMBER AND LATE CHECKOUT IS A PERK, ALONG WITH COURTIOUS SERVICE AND ROOM CHOICE! Avoid at all costs!

  Good location with lots of grass

  Facility was clean, everything in our room worked. Did hear the people upstairs, but it was late and I do believe that they had just come in. Breakfast was ok, they did serve biscuits and gravy. And a Cracker Barrel right next door.

  Not up to La Quinta standards

  The room itself was good. Staff was not professional looking....jeans, t-shirt, etc. Breakfast was okay. Not sure who prepared it by no one was ever seen checking on things, replenishing when necessary. Ran out of biscuits but never saw anyone adding more. Scrambled eggs weren't very hot. One of the coffees was not hot. The night employee was apparently the only one there. The morning employee was late and the night person said she was late a lot so she had to stay until she got there.

  We did not receive the room we paid for. And the room we did receive was damaged and not clean. We were not able to sleep there. We would expect a refund.

  We had a great visit. Our pooch was given a doggie bone at check-in and Cracker Barrel was right next door for a takeout dinner.

  Very dog friendly

  The rooms were older but perfect for 2 large German shepherds. The grassy areas around the hotel was enough for potty breaks. The rooms and hotel was very clean. The only downside was the breakfast wasn’t very good. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

  Great location

  When I checked in, they had given me a room on the 2nd floor. My 14 year-old 50# Aussie/Border collie is terrified of elevators and due to arthritis, is not able to use the stairs. Fortunately, they were able to change me to a room on the 1st floor, which I thought was a "given" booking through BringFido. Other than that, the room was great and the staff very accommodating.

  One of the best pet friendly hotels we’ve stayed at. Rooms were nice and clean, bed was comfy. We got a first floor room which put us close to one of the small green space for our 50lb dog.

  Although the front desk staff was friendly the place was filthy inside and out. The dog run was full of feces and trash was overflowing. The room smelled like urine, so bad we had to burn a scented candle to make it tolerable. When we checked in we were told there was an additional pet fee, where on the website it stated there is no pet fee. We would definitely not stay here again.

  Awful!

  Room was not clean, charge was higher than advertised, we were charged for 2 small dogs even though we were not told that when we booked, employees were rude, manager will not call me and I have called twice asking for her to call me. It has been 8 days since our stay. No one will call me back and there is never a manager on site. Stay away from this one! They obviously don’t care if they have your business!

  Not Great!

  The desk clerk did not wear a mask when we checked in. A different desk clerk on the day we checked out also did not wear a mask. The internet did not work either. We were just there for one night, but the entire time we were there the internet was down. It seemed like a lot of the guests were either locals or members of a large group because they hung around together in the lobby and seemed to be familiar with the desk clerk. The main problem with this is that our room was right off the lobby so it was very noisy. There also was a slight scent of cigarette smoke in the room. I do not recommend this location at all. I gave it one bone because the room was a nice size and the dogs were welcome there- otherwise I would’ve given it a zero!

  Wow! No heat!

  So......checked in at 4:00 pm, outside temps at 19 degrees, and our room was ice cold! No heat was on! It didn’t warm up until around 3:00 am! Room was extremely dirty, shower/tub pull knob was broken, outside entrance door on the end of the building did not lock and was open all night.

  Won’t stay here again!!!

  Very dirty and the place was not maintained. Broken doors...hard floors had greasy residue...and staff acted annoyed when I checked out. Bad experience!!

  A wonderful sleep!

  Although this hotel looks a big long in the tooth, it is clean and well maintained. The pillow top beds, sheets and pillows were five star. We had a wonderful sleep and will definitely be back! Very happy experience.

  Two Paws 🐾 Up

  We were greeted by friendly staff and the owners son jumped into action to accommodate and help us open our truck when keys got locked in. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. Thank you for a great nights sleep with our pup 😊

  Ugh.

  Started out with the TV not working. Had to get two people in to fix/change/reset it. The door to the outside at the end of our hall was incredibly loud so I asked them to please have maintenance oil it...nothing happened. The room smelled like a mix of bug spray and cheap perfume-which we were dealing with (windows are the kind that don’t open). By morning, my husband’s allergies were on high-reaction mode with his sinuses and eyes running. Further inspection found the air conditioner filter. filthy with black mold and/or dust. Citing these things, we asked to cancel the remainder of our stay for a refund. We were denied the refund but left anyway. As of today, BringFido is working on this to try and get a refund for us. BringFido is great. P.S. my dog is happy wherever we go 😎

  Highly recommend!

  I stayed here on a family trip from GA to KY. It was after midnight and I was traveling with two toddlers and our dog, It's hard to find places for a dog her size to stay in (140lbs) but this place has no size limit. The gentleman that got me checked in was both nice and efficient so we could hurry to bed. He was more than happy to let me drop bags in the lobby so I wouldn't have to carry them so far. After I got everything one everyone inside the lobby and tried getting down the hall, I realized I was going to have to make two trips because we were traveling alone. I told him I would be right back for the dog bed and her bag and he said that was fine. Once we were in the room and I opened the door to go back for the last few items I saw that he had brought them to my door just to help out. I told him thank you the next time I saw him and he said no problem that it looked like my hands were full. Very considerate of him! The room was very clean and comfortable and our stay was extremely pleasant. I think this will be my normal stop in the future when making this same drive. I highly recommend!!

  Pit stop stay

  We stayed at this hotel for one night, Thursday 2/21/19-2/22/19.
  The hotel seemed updated and modern. The staff was accommodating with finding us a dog friendly room with a king bed. We did not have a reservation because this was a stop on the way to Florida. The pillows weren't that great. The continental breakfast was so convenient with lots of options. Overall I would recommend this hotel because of its modern updates and it being a good spot to rest, that allows dogs, on the drive south.
