Nice Option for Dog Owners

This hotel was fine-not elegant, but nice. We had to remind them that we had a dog when checking in-the reservation did not show this. They appreciated this info and gave us a ground floor room right next to an outdoor grassy area with a waste can that was perfect for taking out the dog. There was no extra charge for the dog. The room and cable TV were good. The included breakfast was good-even had batter and a waffle iron for making fresh waffles.

The room was clean enough, but we were right next to the expressway and it was VERY loud. When we checked in, they made it clear that the dog was to be kept on the ground level or there would be additional charges. Staff was not very friendly.

THE HOTEL WOULD NOT HONOR OUR RESERVATION, TELLING US THEY HAD NO ROOM "BED" DESIGNATION AND COULD NOT HELP US WITH THE KING PILLOW TOP WE HAD RESERVED. THEN THEY INFORMED US THAT THE RATE WAS NOT CORRECT AND THAT WE WOULD BE CHARGED A PET FEE FOR EACH PET. I EXPLAINED OUR RESERVATION, THE TERMS, AND EVEN SHOWED THEM MY CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND CORRESPONDANCE WITH BRINGFIDO.COM AND THEY WOULD STILL NOT HONOR OUR RESERVATION. i PLAINLY EXPLAINED THAT THIS WAS NO BIG DEAL AND THAT THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR A PET FEE OF TWENTY DOLLARS COULD BE ABSORBED. aT THIS POINT THEY REQUESTED AN ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT OF $50 DOLLARS FOR POSSIBLE PET CREATED CLEANING AND WOULD NEED TO INSPECT THE ROOM AT 7:00AM TO DETERMINE THE REFUND. I DID GET THE CHARGES RETURNED AND LEFT AND WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL. I GIVE THEM EXACTLY WHAT THEY GAVE ME, MY WIFE, AND MY TWO DOGS, THE BONE. ONE BONE HOTEL OUT OF FOUR SEPERATE HOTELS THROUGH BRINGFIDO.COM ON A 8 DAY VACATION.DO NOT RECCOMEND STAYING THERE TO ANY DOG OWNER .
