Parker (my boston terrier dog child) and I checked in rather late in the evening; around 9 or so. The receptionist was friendly and went over all of the dog rules. A conference was letting out as I was checking in and I was a bit nervous walking through a crowded lobby with my dog. To my surprise, the staff and other guests didn't seem to mind us at all. We glided straight through the crowd for the elevators and arrived at our room in a breeze.
This was my first experience in a dog friendly hotel and I was mostly pleased. I think that this hotel is a bit expensive once the pet fee is tacked onto the regular room rate. Even though it's a bit pricey, I would stay again.

My German Shepherd Dog and I were greeted warmly, and given a gift --- it was poop bags and surgical gloves. One of the employees brought him a treat before we went up in the elevator. And each time we came back in from our outdoor walk, we were greeted warmly, and my pup was made a fuss over. They couldn't have been nicer.
The hotel is located off of the Highway. And it is a short drive to their local dog park. There is also a fenced in area (not meant to be a dog walk area) next door that I used to toss the ball for him in the evening.
I would like to stay in Annapolis again with my dog --- but I think I may look for a less expensive hotel.
