This location is under renovation so the pool and gym were not available. However, we stayed in a King room twice coming and going; I have to say these were the largest single rooms I’ve had the pleasure of staying in at this level hotel. Both rooms were beautifully laid out, spacious, and had simply contemporary decor. Perfect size for your pet and you to relax. They also have room service from the restaurant for dinner which is great if you have a potentially noisy pup. Very happy with the stay.

Staff at front desk wasn’t very friendly. Charged extra for “booking.” $12 dollars for breakfast. Carpet in hallways definitely needed cleaned. Called service because there wasn’t any coffee in our room. No one answered the phone. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels with much better amenities so I will stay clear of this one in the future.

Check-in was easy and friendly. The common hall carpets were very soiled and need to be replaced. The room was large but TV had sound, no picture. Desk chair was obviously broken yet just overlooked. A used fork on the window ledge indicated lack of cleanliness. I checked in late and just crashed but told the front desk at checkout about the issues; no response other than “you’re checked out.” Additional $12+ for breakfast, no thank you. Got in the car with dog. I will never return to a Hilton Garden Inn. I stay at many places and this was one of the worse.

After a somewhat snippy welcome we had a great stay here. Dogs get the royal treatment. Welcome to join their owners for meals at a special table. Moody was very pleased with his stay at this clean and friendly hotel.

The hotel staff was friendly and most accommodating. The room and common areas were quite worn and are overdue for updating. Location is perfect for traveling.

Rather disappointed with HGI as the hallway the pet rooms were in was near the pool & fitness area; smelled really awful and was very loud. On top of that there were extra costs. $199 for a lousy experience.

Nice hotel; however, we were given a second floor suite directly above an event room which had a large party with loud music which lasted until nearly 10pm.

Very large room. Needs better maintenance. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain floors were dirty. We had a balcony that had several wasps nests so we couldn’t use it

Besides being right off 95, rooms and lobby were clean, staff friendly and helpful. Liked they have restaurant and bar area and allow pets in designated areas so you don't have to eat in your room. Very accommodating. Will stay again.

Expensive but excellent dog walking area with lots of grassy walking areas. Staff OK and good restaurant on site for dinner with good selection. Breakfast extra. Nothing around site. Quiet. Not worth the money except for great dog amenities.

The lobby and front desk are clean and welcoming. The fire place was on and gave a cozy vibe. The hall to the room wasn’t taken care of. It was outdated with a very musty smell. The room appearance didn’t give a clean feeling. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A little pricey for what you get. However, for a quick, over night, just to sleep, last minute, pet friendly option, it is adequate.

Even though check in was at 3:00pm, our reservation was cancelled at 5:30pm while we were still on the road. All day. In traffic. I booked weeks in advance and confirmed! Nothing like finding another hotel for the night. Is zero bones a thing?

Nice hotel after driving all day. Great food at the bar, and a very friendly staff! Our room was clean, but smelled like a dog. Made you think it was more dirty. Good place for us and our basset hound though. If only the room didn’t smell so bad!!

We had a queen suite with 2 queens and another room with couch. The layout was excellent. The ability to have dinner with our dog to the right of reception is a real plus. This place would be perfect if they would upgrade the quality of worn out furniture, dirty rugs and peeling wallpaper. I am giving it only three bones because it could easily have 5 if they invested in upgrades. They should not have carpet in any room with pets. It can't be cleaned as wood or tile or even vinyl could be easily sanitized. The outdoor setting which is lovely was not well maintained with debris and even masks scattered about. The staff is great and well aware of the poor quality of the above mentioned. Hilton, spend some money and get your act together.

Glad we stayed here. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice grassy area for the pups! Recommend booking ahead, even if just a few hours ahead. I think we got one of the last available rooms! Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was old and dated. Hallways were dirty and needed vacuming. The carpet in the room had several mystery stains. Checking was fine and lobby was OK.

We stayed one night with our two small dogs on our travels to Florida from Ohio. This was our first time staying in a dog friendly hotel so we didn’t really know what to expect. Needless to say, we were not happy. We hate to give them a one bone rating because the manager and staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. However the room was less than adequate. The room smelled so bad of ammonia from the urine of previous dog guests. It was so overwhelming! My husband and I tried to sleep with the sheet over our noses just to help cover up the smell! There was mold in the bathroom, stained wash rags and towels, and stained carpet... it’s as if the simple things to maintain the room were not done because it was suppose to be a pet friendly room, however it was not friendly for either us or our pets. And after a 12 hour drive, we needed some sleep rather than complain. Sadly, we were very disappointed. We hope that the next BringFido hotel we stay at tonight will be better.

Big room for our two dogs and they placed us away from others..not sure if that was due to dogs or COVID. Right off highway but nothing really directly around hotel. Restaurant was closed so we had limited options for delivery/food but we managed and not the hotels fault.

Traveling with pup first time. We love Hilton Garden Inn and were thrilled they were pet friendly. Everything was smooth and room was clean. Only thing we noticed was carpet in room had a lot of stains. We understand that is what happens with animals, but maybe replace carpeting with waterproof laminate floors? We would stay again.

We chose this hotel while traveling home. I can’t tell you how pleased we were with the cleanliness (which is even more important today) and location off I-95. But I was most impressed with the front desk staff. Shane was super friendly, courteous and welcoming. We have a dog, so finding a hotel can be challenging. I highly recommend this hotel.

We used BringFido to identify and book this hotel during a return trip to Hilton Head. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff friendly, attentive and professional. Our room was spacious and easily accommodated our two Labs and their travel crates. The area around the hotel had plenty of open fields for the dogs to play or go for walks. Certainly we’ll make this a regular stopping point.

We stayed in room 187, and I had to turn off the HVAC because it was so loud. The room smelled of cat urine. This is the third hotel/motel in this area (Northern NC/Southern VA) and all three have been disasters. All the pet friendly rooms seem to be rooms no one else would want. They all have noise and pet smells. When I go into a hotel room, I don't want odors, it should appear to me that no one has stayed in the room prior to me. These hotels should take a lesson from the Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista in Florida, we have stayed there numerous times in a pet friendly room, normal HVAC noise and NO SMELL.

Spent last night with my 3 year old Lab. There is no weight limit when I called and asked about the pet policy. Hotel was pretty full with lots of dogs!! Lots of grass around hotel to exercise dogs. Plenty of restaurant choices just up the road (sans dog). Whole hotel is pet friendly, our room appeared to have had some prior dog damage at the bottom of the coffee cabinet. Otherwise, clean as expected for a Hilton property. Would definitely stay here in the future.

We loved this hotel. Our dog is a 11 year old yellow lab and the stay with him was absolutely wonderful. Our room was a suite and was very clean. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay here again.

Lots of follow travelers with their dogs large and small. It’s true there isn’t lots of Choices on food however the hotel has a restaurant. We sat off to the side in the lobby and wait staff brought our order without issue in fact she said that the seating on the other side of fireplace was the dog friendly seating. It all worked great! This was my second stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has lots of area to walk Phoenix. I recommend not wasting your time trying to find a good dog friendly restaurant in town. Go straight to the hotel. There is a nice bar and restaurant. The food is good and there is ample outdoor seating. Some tables have umbrellas and the grounds are pretty. There is not much nearby the hotel. Our room had a very nice large balcony. For breakfast the next day, there were tables that are not located directly where the food was being served so we were able to eat downstairs with Phoenix and still eat in the lobby. The breakfast waitress even came and brought our food to us and was very kind. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.
