Great, dog friendly and beautiful accommodations! The staff was very friendly and Pizza delivery was available until after midnight. A very handy thing for late travelers. Great free breakfast....

Plenty of well-kept grounds to walk dogs. Low rate for pet fee. Very clean. Little bit of a trip to Presque Isle, very close to Casino. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. This is our spot to stay in Erie in future trips!!

The stay was very good. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the rules for the dogs were clearly expressed without giving any feelings that if it weren't complied with their would be trouble. It was given as a guideline to follow and the stay there proved this to be the case. I would return to this location in the future and would recommend it to any friends that travel with their dogs.

Stayed at this Hotel before and loved it with our dog (no fee) and when we stayed here on 10/9/09 they are now starting to charge a 20.00 per night fee for Pets, and when you check in they require a cell phone number for contact
There are better places to stay with your pet.

I stayed at La Q in Erie on my way through to NY, with my greyhound. The staff was unpleasant and argumentative. The parking lot is also extremely small and dead-ends, making it very difficult if you have anything like a moving van or trailer, FYI (we had to park at another nearby hotel).
All in all, this hotel just was not a good "pet-friendly" choice. My dog sniffed the carpet in the room for several minutes and then rolled around on it, if that gives you any idea how "clean" their cleaning fee was keeping it. There was also an "in-room safe" fee on my room bill--they never told me about that, or asked if I wanted a room with that feature (I didn't).

Although your review said there was no pet fee ; they charged me a $20 pet fee for the night I stayed. The manager was not in
when I checked out in the morning so I don't know if they refunded my account or not. Will be returning to Canada today and will check your web site again to see if I can find another pet friendly hotel.

We will never stay at this hotel again. There is absolutley no hospitality at all at this hotel. We all were treated like we did not belong there or something. I am going to share our experiences with the general manager and our friends. This explains alittle more of why this hotel had only a two star rating out of five. I don't know if we dressed wrong or even looked the wrong way. This is how I rate this place a 1 meaning the worst experience that we ever encountered when we stay at hotels. Thank you for listening.
