Hawthorn Inn & Suites is located 6 miles from Lancaster Airport, 26 miles from Harrisburg International Airport, 63 miles from Philadelphia International Airport and 3.5 miles downtown Lancaster. This three-story property features studio suites (350/390 sf), featuring kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator and all the dishes and utensils you might need. We offer a complimentary hot breakfast buffet including eggs, bacon/sausage, fresh fruit, cereals, hot coffee and much, much more. We also offer a complimentary light evening dinner on Wednesday evenings. Additional complimentary on site amenities includes an exercise room and free parking.

Really needs an update

The front desk was very friendly but the hotel was rundown and in need of an update. It was clean but the room smelled a little weird and in the wetbar area and in the bathroom there was sand and grime in the corners. They did have a great dog walk area. It was clean and fenced in. I did see a sign in the lobby indicating that they were going to be redecorating...

We reserved our room at 10pm, called an hour later, to tell them we would be in late, around 2am. When we arrived at the hotel, they had given our room anyway, despite the fact we'd called ahead to inform them of our late arrival time! Next, they chargeed us a non refundable $50 pet charge, and offered us a smaller room, with only 1 bed (there were 3 of us). Beds are listed as queen size, but they are not - they are double/full size beds. This place was awful to deal with, one thing after another....can't recommend them. We won't be staying again.
