Our Shitzu had a great time

Enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean enough and the location was good. We actually had a slight ocean view from the 4th floor if you looked hard enough. This was our first time traveling with a pet.
It's a lot of work "shlepping" the dog around. They could do a little trimming of the vegetation in the dog walk area. It was a bit overgrown. Overall a good stay & would stay again.
Very Pleased!

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn, Myrtle Beach June 2010. The hotel was wonderful! Upon checking in we were greeted by a friendly face, as well as every other time we needed something. We brought our dog, a lab, and we know he enjoyed his stay as well. The rooms are large enough for him and a 2 year old to play. Also, the hotel is only two blocks from the beach and there are no major roads to cross which is really great when walking your dog. We will definitely be staying here again and we would recommend others to stay here as well. :)
Good stay!

Very dog friendly. No problems whatsoever. Obviously not a Hampton or Hilton, but we didn't expect that on this trip. Room was clean and serviced everyday. Everything worked well. Hotel was very near airport but must be super insulated. We never heard the jets and likewise, no barking dogs. We would definitely stay here again. Just would like to say to future guests. Use the dog walk area, not the landscaping, for your pets and clean up after them. This hotel is nice enough to let dogs stay. Most of us are appreciative of the privilege and follow the rules, but there are always those few who don't. Don't ruin it for all the rest of us.
Lots of fun!

A great trip for a ladies weekend and first trip to the beach with my dog. Overall, it was a great place to stay. On one night no one came to clean our room, take our trash out or give us towels. We made a complaint at the desk though and they gave it prompt attention.

We stayed at the Red Roof, Myrtle Beach in May 2010. The hotel was very clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Although there wasn't a hair dryer in the room, I asked the front desk and one was provided. Lots of room to walk our Golden Retriever with grass and shade. The pool was nice and clean. A short stroll to the beach with sidewalk access the entire way. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The Best!

This was the first time we ever traveled with our Golden Retriever & I have to say, after our trouble free stay @ this Red Roof I would do it again in a minute! The rooms & property are clean & comfortable. Plenty of room to walk your dog & only 2 blocks from the beach. I highly recommend this property!

It was obvious that all the staff loved dogs, taking every opportunity to talk to and pet the dogs. The rooms were very clean and didn't smell like the previous dog. I could have used a few more amenities, like a hair dryer and coffee pot. The location was great, but the staff was the absolute best. We would definitely stay there again.
