Stayed there lots!!!

Me & my husband and our 2 blue heelers have stayed there 3 times now and have loved it!!! the hotel does accept dogs over 25 pounds, i have a 40 pound and a 35 pound blue heeler and they are always welcomed. Only thing i would change would be the concrete wall that blocks the view on your balcony if you try and sit down. I would highly recommend your stay here!!!

The room was nice. View was excellent. Hotel staff were cordial. The facilities for taking our dog "outside" were quite nice. Rates are reasonable. Would stay there again.

We had a great time. Plenty of areas for the dog. He loved to run in the courtyard. All the dogs were well behaved and everyone smiled at my dog. Most that didn't bring theirs wished they had. Thank you for the mail gifts.

The hotel overall was very good. James, the bell captain, made my family feel very welcome and gave us a ton of information. My children had many questions since this was the first time our pet had ever traveled to a hotel with us - James was very helpful. We all loved our stay. My only issue was the distance from the door to the pet walking area ---- lots of grass and trees before the pet area -- Sandy had a hard time waiting until we reached the "designated" pet area. It would be good if the area could rearranged a bit or perhaps have people travel from the front door to the area thus not going through the "courtyard" area. Pets dont understand grass is grass - people understand we want to keep pet droppings out of the walking area for humans. Great stay.

This is a great hotel. The view is wonderful and it is so peaceful. They treated our dog like they wanted her to be there. At check in they gave us a bag with treats for her and info about their pet policy. The front desk also took my cell phone number so that when we left her in the room unattended they could contact me if needed. We were very impressed!

Park Vista was extremely pet friendly. They had plenty of space for the dogs to walk and take care of business. They even had a supply of "poop bags" available in the designated area. The staff was very friendly and accepting of our two snauzers. The rooms were clean and did not have any signs that pets stayed in their rooms. The pet fee is a little high at twenty dollars a day but it was worth it to have our girls with us.
Fantastic Hotel

Upon checking in, I received pet info and 2 bones for my dog. Park Vista does accept dogs weighing over 25 lbs. I have a collie and she was greeted by every employee.
The grounds and view are fantastic. Dogs are allowed to stay in the room if you go out, the staff just asks for a number where they can reach you if there is a problem.

Gustav evacuees! Great hotel! Very pet friendly! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with a pet (or two). The staff was very friendly, very helpful. The grounds & views are beautiful. The room was nicer than every other pet friendly hotel I’ve stayed in. Bathroom was very small, but other than that – I LOVED IT! I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Gatlinburg.
Great value

For $89 we had a very large, clean room with an incredible view of the smokey mountains. The bathroom was small but clean and nice. The balcony is very thin with a high concrete wall (about 4 feet), so you can stand and look at the view, but you can't sit there and enjoy it. Our dog was very welcome and no guests had any problems either. The pet play area is large and very nicely landscaped and even had poopy bags - it was the nicest I have ever seen. It also had childrens playground with it. The indoor pool is also very nice with lots of room to lounge around the pool. Room service food was also pretty good. There was a convention at the hotel when we were there so parking was limited and we had to walk a ways from our car to the hotel - not a big deal unless the weather is bad. For a pet hotel and this price, it can't be beat!
Better than expected

This was the first vacation I took with my dog and didn't know what to expect in a "pet friendly hotel". I was pleasantly surprised and Katie (my dog) and I enjoyed our stay at the Park Vista Hotel very much. One suggestion would be to add lighting to the dog walk area. It was extremely dark at night walking my dog in the designated area. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to take their dog with them to Gatlinburg.

We chose a mountain view room and it was a beautiful view. The pool was nice, two level, and quite busy. Breakfast buffet was very good, moderately priced. Our girls enjoyed the glass elevators, the pool and the view. Nice place, I would stay again if I were in the area.
Woof!

Very pet friendly hotel. There were several people staying with dogs. They also didn't mind if you kept your dog in the room.

When I arrived I had a difficult time finding the hotel because it was foggy. Just know when booking this hotel that it is not possible to walk through the shops in Gatlinburg from the hotel. You must either take the bus, which runs from the hotel, for a small fee or drive down the hill about a mile and pay for parking. The view from the room was great and the staff was friendly as well. The $20 pet fee only applied once for the entire duration of my stay. The rooms were clean with the exception of dead lady bugs on the lights.

Hotel was great for dog lovers. Relaxed atmosphere for dogs, pet friendly area and courteous staff. Hotel clean, only negative was restuarant food and bar during off season (always closed). Had a little blood on our shower curtain that could easily be missed.

For a hotel that allows pets, the Park Vista was nice. The facility is on the older side. However, the room was nice and the views were great. They were great with our dog. They have great grounds and a nice courtyard for all pets. We had a nice time and may consider the hotel again, if we ever go back to Gatlinburg.

The hotel staff was wonderful. The room had a great view and the grounds for kids and the dog were great. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but otherwise very nice. They have a brand new workout room with updated equipment - that was very nice. We were very disappointed by the wet soggy floors in out room. Apparently the doorwall was left open by the previous guests. The staff offered to have the carpets wet mopped the next morning, but were unable to move us to another pet friendly room because they were full.

The elevator was down 3 days and just not very courteous staff. The pet information was accurate.
