We were impressed with the hotel. Rather upscale, although a bit far from the center of town. We were given a handicapped room on the first floor so the room seems spacious. Nice hotel grounds for walking, too.

This was a great hotel, the people there were very friendly and the hotel was in a great setting. My golden retriever loved walking in all the grassy areas, as well as through the lobby where everyone talked to her. I would highly recommend this place if you’re are stopping over in Nashville and traveling with your pet. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great Hotel - Terrible Staff

We went with another couple to Nashville for Christmas shopping and stayed at this hotel. The rooms were great; the hotel is brand new and very stylish and comfortable. There is no pet fee or weight limit which I really like. My only complaint was that we got into Nashville at 2 pm and I had called the day before to ask if we could check in early and they said yes. Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm and the front desk clerk swore there was no possible way for us to check in before three because the rooms were not clean yet. They made us sit in the lobby and wait til exactly 3:00 to check in. Then to beat it all, the next morning at 7 am (checkout was at Noon), housekeeping knocks on our door wanting to know when we can check out so they can clean our room! The hotel was great and in a great location, but the staff could use some training in customer service.

Bad Change in Pet Policy - Oct 2011

As of October 2011, Sheraton makes you sign a Pet Policy upon check-in that states you cannot leave your dog in the room unattended. Plus, if they have one single noise complaint, you WILL be assessed a $100 FINE on your bill PER DAY that they receive a noise complaint. They did it to several members of our group, which we later got reversed after a "discussion" with management. We won't go back there.
