Have not stayed there yet, but the reservation person, George, was very helpfull and explained the rules clearly. There is no pet fee for a small dog under 25 pounds. I asked about the policy of leaving the dog while we ate or left the room and he said that you only had to leave a cell number when you left so they could call you if your pet barked or caused a disturbance and you would have to come back & calm them. Seemed reasonable and the rates are very good when you consider that the other hotels may be a little cheaper, but add pet fees. I researched the hotels in the area extensavely and this one got the best reviews. Looking forward to our trip.

This hotel is nice, clean and has everything you need. My little dog felt right at home. It's also in a great location. I most definitely will stay there again.

My son and I stayed at La quinta for the Fall Rod Run at P/F. Our room was very clean and it was the best dog friendly hotel we stayed at Pigeon forge. I recommend La Quinta if you're traveling with a pet...it was definitely worth the extra bucks.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE STAYED AT THIS LAQUINTA 3 TIMES AND WILL BE COMING AGAIN IN OCTOBER. OVER ALL I REALLY LIKE THIS PLACE. THE LAST TIME WE STAYED WAS IN MARCH 2009. WE HAD A MINOR ISSUE OF A GROUP OF CHEERLEADERS CHECKING IN AT 2AM. WE WERE WOKE UP WITH THEM AND THE PARENTS RUNNING THE HALL AND SLAMMING DOORS UNTILL ABOUT 5AM AND WHEN I WENT DOWN FOR BREAKFAST THERE WAS NONE DUE TO THE CHEERLEADER GROUP. ALSO I REQUESTED A ROOM ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR W/DOUBLE BEDS AND ENDED UP ON THE 3RD FLOOR WITH KING BED. BUT AFTER GETTING PAST THESE ISSUES WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED A PET FEE. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. THERE IS A GOOD GRASSY AREA IN FRONT FOR MY JACK RUSSELL TO DO HER BUSINESS, AND SHE LOVES GOING TO THE MOUNTAINS AS MUCH AS WE DO. WE WILL RETURN.

Great pet friendly stopover

We were only staying one night and traveling with two small dogs. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The dogs were afraid of the elevator, which was amusing to other guests as we dragged them into it. One of our dogs heard a dog barking in another room and so began to bark. I turned on the TV and that drowned out the other dog. There is plenty of grass in front for short trips out. The breakfast was pretty good, too! All in all, a great pet friendly alternative.

Hotel was very nice and had plenty of grassy exercise space not near a busy street for my springer spaniel. Very good continental breakfast for those of us who like country food.

LaQuinta Inn Pigeon Forge

This was a great hotel and the staff was really wonderful to us and our baby Danielle(puppy). My husband and I didn't have a problem with leaving her in the room while we were gone for the day. The food they had was wonderful also and the room was really clean. Just wished we could of had a ground floor instead of the elevator. But will stay there again when we are in the area. Great Place!!!!!!

Great Experience

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with the experience. The staff was very helpful. In fact, my dog was quite a bit over the weight limit and the girl at the front desk allowed her to stay anyway and didn't even charge a pet fee, which I really appreciated! My only complaint is that the light in the bathroom went out occasionally...haha, but other than that everything was great! I would definiely stay again.

Great place to bring pet

This was a very nice place to stay with your pet. There were plenty of places to walk the dog. The breakfast was great. We felt very welcome with our dog. The only problem we had was with getting towels. There were not enough in the room and it was like pulling teeth to get more. They would not give pool towels and were told stories by the night person about the towels being sent out, when we saw them being washed in the back during the day. We just wanted towels, not their first born.

We chose La Quinta because they accepted pets. As we were checking in we had to sign papers about our pet and leave cell numbers where we could be contacted in case our pet disturbed someone. But you were not allowed to leave your pet alone in the room. None of this was mentioned on any of the websites, or when we called to reserve a room. Room was okay. No table and only one chair to sit in. Room was very small and with no balcony. No seating outside. This made it very hard for us to enjoy meals since we could not leave our pet in the room, had no table to eat at either inside or out an of course could not take her to a restaruant. Overall the staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and clean. Great location.
