Very Satisfied
Sara in Athens, AL
We were very happy with the staff and service we received. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. It was great being able to take our dogs with us without any problems. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice having a hot breakfast too. The hotel was very close to everything which was great. We would definatly stay there again.

Geat Pet Hotel
Sherry in Prosperity, SC
This was my first time to take my three pomeranians for a hotel stay, I wasn't sure what to expect. The Microtel in Pigeon Forge was a great first experience. The room was a suite on the second floor, it was clean, complete with microwave, refrigerator, sink, couch, queen bed and a sitting area. My dogs loved it and it was a great experience. The cost for all three dogs was $45.00 PER STAY. We stayed two nights but if we had stayed 7 nights the cost would still have been $45.00 for the pets. The room cost was actually around 59.00 so I was very pleased with the total cost. I have paid more than that for a hotel romm without my pets and the room was horrible. If we ever go to Pigeon Forge again, I will use Microtel. Thanks for a great stay.

The best pet friendly stay ever!
Woody in Wayland, Ky
I must say that I am very impressed with the level of care taken by this Microtel to make our stay very pleasant! The entire staff was top notch, anything we needed was at the asking, and they treated our dog as an important guest also. The room was clean, roomy, and had an excellent air conditioner. I will definately be a return guest on our next trip to Pigeon Forge.

Nice stay
Samantha in Frankfort, KY
We traveled for the first time with our 11-month-old German Shepherd, weighing in around 85 pounds. We stayed here 2 nights for $181 in a double-bed room. It was difficult to find a hotel that would take animals over 25-30 lbs, but this one will let you have bigger animals. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. It seemed all the select pet rooms were on the first floor, which was great because we didn't want to have to ride the elevator with our pup. The downside was that all the animals were in nearby rooms. There was only one instance where Axel barked at another dog during the night. The room was a bit crowded, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Outside lighting was good for night-time potty breaks. We were pleased with our stay.

Nice accommodations
Kaye in Hendersonville
Overall the stay was very nice and the room met our needs for the weekend. The staff who checked us in was new, which slowed down the process a bit, but apologized for the wait.

Microtel Pigeon Forge

My family has a 110 lb. Rottweiler/Doberman, so it is often difficult to find a hotel without restrictions. There were several other dogs staying the night, and the room was very appropriate to meet the needs of our family and our dog. There was a fee of $35 due to Sadie's size, and based on signs observed for other hotels, perhaps a bit pricier then other hotels in the area. Regardless, having the ability to travel with our other family member made it worth the extra amount.

Very pleased with accomodations for us and our pet Schatzie. We will be going to Myrtle Beach last week in July and will be looking for pet friendly accomodations there also. I understand and accept why some places do not accept pets. It was quite interesting to note that Pigeon Forge in Tn. had 12 listings while Myrtle Beach (which is much, much larger) had only 8 pet friendly hotels.

Better then Most
Jessica in Ny, Ga for now I travel
I thought the 25-35 dollars per stay was wonderful if you plan to stay long periods of time, I travel so finding pet hotels is a must. I have paid 10 dollars per pet before a NIGHT and for someone who stays long weeks at a time it adds up :( , however the one time fee was great. The room was nice but I think they put you down a pet hallway you can hear all the dogs at all times of the night everytime a door was open and what not, maybe some more sound proofing? , as far as a place to take you dog to use the bath room is small. They have nice size areas on both sizes of the hotel but have posted please dont let your pet on this... and those were basically the only spots , you have like a 2 foot space all around the parking lot which is really not that great, so there bathroom area could be better, other then that it was a alright stay i would stay there again if i had to.

RUDE/DISRESPECTFUL
Candy in Niles, MI
I was very unhappy with our stay. I booked the hotel in 02/09 for an August wedding. I printed out my confirmation page to take with us. The price was quoted per night and it clearly stated there was a fee of $25 for up to 2 dogs of any size per stay. When I checked in to the hotel after driving 9.5 hours the front desk personnel stated the fees were incorrect. I showed her the printout. She stated she needed to get the manager. He stated VERY rudely in front of the entire lobby that HIS prices haven't changed for 9 years and printed out an updated version of the Bring Fido.com fees. I explained i booked the room 6 mos prior and he basically RUDELY accused me of changing the form because he hasn't and told me I could find another hotel. I asked to speak with someone higher up. He said he was the only one there besides the owner. I asked to speak with the owner. He stated "HE DOESNT HAVE TIME FOR PIDLY STUFF LIKE THIS" and refused to let me talk to him. Again stating I could find another hotel. With a german shepherd and a 55 lb border collie I explained I could not do that last minute, just give me my room. He then stated NO. Find another hotel. After arguing and paying the higher amount he finally gave me a key to our room. Only a few hours later the police were called by the request of another guest stating the Indian man ran her CC which was approved by the bank and he still insisted she pay cash for the stay even though he had the CC processed already. Although the room itself was comfortable, I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER MICROTEL SUITE again. Please note: in both cases he was dealing with WOMEN. Very disrespectful to women.

Bad Service
mary in blue ridge ga
First of all when we arived the hotel was dirty there was no toilet paper and there was a night gown from the previous guest but we overlooked that. The reason for our trip was to vist my wifes mother who lives here but because we paid so much and it had an air conditioner DURING THE DAY she came over to visit we didnt use the pool or any hotel amenities only in room visits most of the time we went out to do activities, however when leaving out to go eat a guy approached me who said he was the owner (Indian person) and was very rude asking me why I lied and tellling me there was 4 adults staying here and I tried to explain that they were not staying here they were only visiting us he would not listen I asked for refund for the next night that we had not stayed yet and he told me no. I was very emotionally upset about this incident so I just left. And by the way all that was done in public.
