  We had lunch (with our German Shepherd) on the patio at Canal Park Brewing Company. They have a great location, and are Pup friendly.
  The food was excellent, especially the Fish & Chips for which they served Lake Superior Whitefish. A little different from the usual Cod -- but excellent! Large selection of Beers and great food. We'll be back on our next visit to Duluth!

  A little disappointing

  Nice Patio and a great location but the food was just average and pricey for what we got. Service was disappointing.

  Canal “Bark” Brewing

  We stopped here and enjoyed drinks and apps on the patio. The staff were even kind enough to bring my pup a bowl of water (with a Canal “bark” logo which I thought was novel) without even being asked. The patio is supported by wait staff so you don’t have to worry about getting into the building with your dog to order from the bar. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we went on a 80 degree day and the patio furniture is black, hot plastic and was super hot to the touch (for me).

  Pet friendly patio but it’s in the sun with no umbrellas for shade. They had another patio that was shaded but they wouldn’t seat anyone there so we went somewhere else to eat.

  Beautiful location!

  We enjoyed taking our dog Gordon here twice! The patio is large and very dog-friendly. The food was delicious and beers excellent. The service was a bit slow, but it was super busy. We would go there again and highly recommend it:)

  Not during winter

  Not during winter, which, let’s be real, is a significant chunk of time in Minnesota. We were passing through on our way up north and they could not accommodate us. I imagine during the summer they are great, but we travel with our dog year around.

  Best meal in Duluth

  We brought our lab to lunch with us and had one of our favorite meals in Duluth. Great food (I enjoyed the fish and chips) and great atmosphere. Friendly staff, beautiful view of the lake, family and dog friendly. I would highly recommend.

  Great Food and Service

  We were traveling with our Great Dane and found this place on this site. Awesome food and staff was wonderful with Leo. They had a small water bowl for our 4 legged friend, so could have used a bigger water bowl but other than that, highly recommended.

  They were so nice to my pup!

  The food was good, and the beer was great! I didn't get anything crazy but enjoyed my dinner salad. I thought the portion was sufficient for me but my husband would have grouched about still being hungry.
  The outside dining area is lovely and it's nice and big. When I went I would guess at least a quarter of the patrons had a dog with them. The tables are equipped with a ring on the inside of the table leg where you can clip your deck leash (if you have one).
  The staff were friendly and kind to my girl even when she insisted on laying in the middle of the walkway where the sun was. I was embarrassed but the wait staff just stepped over my sunbathing baby. They offered her water and told her she was pretty. I couldn't ask for better service!
  I was very pleased with the whole experience! Great place to grab a bite with your doggo!

  Excellent everything!

  After reading other's reviews, we didn't get treats or a water bowl, but I don't even care cause this place was awesome! They loved our dogs, other tables near us had dogs, their food was so good we went back a second night. Their beer was delicious!

  Great Service

  We visited Duluth on a busy Fourth of July weekend and they were able to get us a table outside with our pup in about 15 mins. There were other dogs sitting around us and the despite the busy time the servers where fine with out dog, even when she was occasionally in the way. I would give the food five bones too, the pretzel app and the pear cider was to die for! Thanks Canal Park Brewing Co for providing great food and a place for our pup to enjoy as well!

  They love dogs!

  We visited twice on a trip to Duluth. Great food was a bonus. So dog friendly! Our dog even got a treat (for a trick, of course)! Highly recommend!!

  zero complaints

  Patio was open on a beautiful day and they were SO accommodating to out dog Ziggy! Obviously this is a place people love to bring their pets because there was a line down the walkway of people waiting with their dogs for a table! Right on the lake so we took her for a swim after lunch! So fun!

  Brew pub with a dog friendly patio

  Our dog was welcomed as a guest. This is s beautiful patio area attached to a good brew pub with excellent food. Our waitstaff also waited on our canine friend bringing treats and water. Gorgeous view of Lake Superior.
