  Great little spot!

  We were lucky to get one of the two outdoor patio tables last minute so we could dine here and have our two pups with us. It was a cozy little table with nice privacy and just enough space to keep the pups comfortably laying next to us. The food and service were fantastic!

  Fab Food, Charming to boot

  Always a special treat to dine here, lunch or dinner. My fave at lunch is cup of soup with shrimp roll and a cup of coffee. Doggies on the patio - call for a resv for those special tables if needed.

  Incredible Dinner in Intimate Surroundings

  I chose this for my birthday dinner and we went with another couple during our getaway weekend in Cambria. David, the owner, met us at the door and wished me a happy birthday, then spent some time chatting with us about the wine shop and the menu. The tablecloths are crisp and white, the lighting low, roses are on table, and the impressionistist paintings on the walls by a local artist added just the right touch to the room.

  Each of us gave our meal 5 out of 5 stars and were raving about it the next day. Here is what we had:
  Wild Boar chops (melt in your mouth tender), Lamb, Petrale Sole, and Duck (my husband said it was hands down the best he's ever had, including when we are in France). I ordered the bananas flambe for dessert which came flaming to the table - the perfect exclamation point to the evening. We brought Moonstone wines with us that we had purchased that afternoon to accompany the meal (they are located across the street) and ordered one of David's dessert wines which was delicious.

  There were couples and singles at the other tables. This is not a place for children. We all went off to the hotel extremely happy with our evening and not over-stuffed. Thank you David for perfect birthday dinner!

  Special Anniversary Dinner

  This was a special night for us and the restaurant more than met our expectations. Small but with a good sense of privacy, The food was some of the best we have had in Cambria and the service was excellent. We are looking forward to returning. We had lobster-crab cakes, salad, then fish special for my wife and shrimp for me. I could not have been better prepared.

  Wonderful Dinner

  Chose this based on a recommendation from a host of the B&B that we were staying at. Needless to say, we were very happy to have listened. Great ambiance for a date. We were so lucky to have been hosted, waited upon, and receive menu guidance from the chef/owner. Everything on the menu looked wonderful. The wine recommended for our tastes was lovely (our B&B gave us a coupon for half off a bottle of wine and when we presented it, there was no judgment whatsoever). We started with the short rib ravioli, she had the duck, and I the wild board. Everything tasted like perfection. To finish off, we had the chocolate truffle mousse cake which tasted like heaven. We loved the place so much, we returned the following day for the complimentary wine tasting received for filling out the guest survey. David remembered us from the previous night, came over and said hi, and told the wine shopkeeper to take good care of us. The tasting was fun, catered to our wine tastes, and my girlfriend discovered a new favorite winemaker. Highly recommended and would return if ever in the area gain. A++++++++
