  Moose loved it!

  This tavern has wonderful outdoor seating for families with pups and the food is wonderful! we had the best fish and chips that we’ve run into in a very long time. Friendly staff and even a fresh water bowl for Moose.

  Great place!

  Love this place! lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade. Super friendly and dog knowledgeable staff. Our girls got lots of love and pets and a refreshing bowl of ice water! Our lunch was was excellent and of course the beer is fantastic. 10/10 Would definitely recommend!

  Great place to eat

  very accommodating of us and our 2 dogs. beer was good. get the cheron stout. pretzel, sausages, seafood. all good. nice shaded patio for the dogs and water bowls are provided too.

  Very welcoming!

  This is my favorite lunch spot in Manteo, and we were thrilled to find out dogs are welcome on the patio. Our server greeted us with treats and a souvenir water bowl for our Lab.

  Dog’s are so welcome!

  We loved eating here with our pup :) the entire staff was sweet to him and happy to see a new pup. The patio seating is doggy friendly. They even have a menu item just for pups that comes in a bowl you get to bring with you. The staff brought us treats that were made with left over oats from the brewing + other dog friendly stuff (super cool!).

  Great Service

  The pub side is dog friendly and the bartender brought out a bowl of water and a biscuit for pup, right away. Laid back atmosphere, good beer and food.

  Totally Awesome...

  My pooch and I really enjoyed this place. My pooch had one on one service. The server, Red, was awesome. She brought Odie water and a homemade dog biscuit. Her recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend this place to dog owners.

  Very friendly customer service in the pub

  Couldn't ask for better customer or dog-friendly service in the pub side of the cafe. Great drinks and chill atmosphere...we'll definitely be back. The bartender was amazing.

  One of the best dog friendly restaurants we have encountered. Every Easter when we visit the NC outer banks we stop here. There is always a fresh bowl of water waiting

  Great food and excellent, friendly service!

  We went here during our spring break trip in March and it was a particularly windy day. They let us sit in the pub with our dog and the bartender was extremely friendly. They also have her dog biscuits that they make there and we bought some before we left. The food was also incredible. We got a shrimp and crab enchilada and shrimp melt and they were both awesome!

  great lunch and beer

  We had an excellent experience at lunch yesterday. Our dog Bailey got a huge bowl of water with ice cubes.
  We ordered a flight of beer and loved each one. We actually got a six pack of our 2 favorites, the IPA and Imperial Stout.
  The oyster poor boy and shrimp salad wrap were great. French fries and onion rings were perfect.
  Our waitress was attentive and fast.
  Oh.. and we bought a bag of dog treats because Bailey LOVED them.

  Food is good, beer is great, try imperial stout! Right in middle of small village found it by following their delivery truck. Very pet friendly, outdoor seating, good wait staff, oh did I mention the beer!

  Very friendly outdoor seating for dogs. Two of the waiters even brought doggy biscuits (which they make there) for our dog. Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend!

  Yuck! Don't waste your money!

  First the here. Great they have pet friendly seating outside. However, food isn't worth the high prices. 30.00 surf and turf. Shrimp friend can't get grilled, broiled or any other way. At first steak was supposed to be a ribeye. Asked for medium on hubby, mine medium well. Both came out well done and tough. Sent back. No more ribeyes. Doing filets now. Let's see if they are done right this time. Horrible steak..... awful seasoning..... Dry..... 75.00!!!! 2 steaks, a cheese quesadilla for our daughter that was horrible .... will never go back.

  Good beer and tasty biscuits

  The beer is good and the folks were very nice to us and our dogs. Tables outside are close together so if it was busy, I can picture it being a bit stressful for the dogs (we were there in mid-afternoon between lunch and dinner so it was perfect for us). The service is dog-friendly (water bowl and house made biscuits provided immediately). The setting is a historic building in a cute little waterside "downtown" and the beer they make is delicious with a good variety. They sell the dog biscuits in bags and you can also get your growler filled. We are planning to go back for dinner later in the week.

  Nice place

  We arrived at the the Full Moon Cafe during a heavy thunderstorm. The staff let us bring our dog Journey inside the pub area and we had a nice meal and waited out the rain.

  Great atmosphere and amazing food. There was a low fence to separate the patio seating outside from the sidewalk foot traffic so our dog wasn't disturbed, and there was plenty of room around for him to lay at our feet while we had dinner. Quiet and clean atmosphere, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, brought water for our dog right away. I was very impressed, and the oysters were incredible!

  Great Lunch Spot in Manteo!

  Patio tables with umbrellas and fans to help you keep cool. Waitress brought ice water for the dogs and samples of their ale biscuits!

  free beer bones!

  Cute little cafe in a cute downtown location. Food was good a nice lunch selection and great beers! They brought a water bowl out for my pup right away. They have homemade bones made from the leftover beer grains, peanut butter and eggs. My pup seemed to like it. Nice area of OBX but not a lot of pup friendly shops near. There is a nice grassy courtyard and pier near for a nice after meal walk.
